Step 1: Connecting Hardware Barcode Scanners
Before initiating inventory scans in OrynBiz WMS, your handheld scanner must be paired either via
Bluetooth HID mode or USB OTG serial connection. Open
System Settings → Hardware Integrations → Barcode Scanners within the OrynBiz
admin console.
Scan the pairing barcode displayed on your screen. Once paired, the status indicator will turn green, signaling zero-latency hardware telemetry.

Step 2: Configuring Auto-Batch Serial Number Schemas
In high-turnover FMCG and manufacturing environments, per-unit serial tracking is essential for warranty management and statutory regulatory audits. Select your item category in the inventory module and toggle Enforce Serial Tracking on Dispatch.
OrynBiz automatically generates incremental sequential batch IDs (e.g.
BATCH-2026-AUG-00914) during receiving, attaching manufacturing dates, lot numbers, and
supplier origin metadata.
Step 3: Executing Live Scanning Audits on Shop Floor
With your scanner configured, navigate to the Mobile Warehouse App. Scan any bin location barcode
(e.g. AISLE-04-RACK-B-BIN-12). The system instantly displays expected physical quantities
versus real-time ACID ledger counts.
